I took this shot with my phone in February of 2009. The Hotel North Beach, until recently the Hotel St. Paul, can be found at the corner of Kearny & Columbus in San Francisco’s North Beach/Chinatown neighborhood. The building in the background is American Zoetrope, Francis Ford Coppola’s film/media company. There’s an Italian restaurant on the ground floor that rates a solid meh for food but has nice ambiance.
